Black History Slam 2025

The Black History Slam is back! Join us for an electrifying evening of music, poetry, and community as we celebrate Black History Month under the theme "Roots and Rhythm: Celebrating Black Legacy in London."

This year’s event features four incredible poets, including headliner Eddie Lartey, and soulful performances by musician Tiffany Chantelle. Held at Museum London on February 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:05 PM.

Between performances, attendees are invited to take part in free, drop-in guided tours of Ukutula: Our Timeless Journeys, an expansive group exhibition celebrating African dance and music featuring the work of five contemporary artists from the African and Asian diasporas.

The exhibition tours will at 5:30 PM and later at 7:10 PM.

Come and experience powerful storytelling, soulful melodies, and the vibrant rhythm of Black culture. Don’t miss this unforgettable celebration of creativity and resilience!
